Want to learn Neapolitan?
Between 7 and 8 million people, or 12 to 13 percent of the Italian population, speak Neapolitan. It is also the language of the Neapolitan Song which is possibly the most recognized of all Italian music throughout the world. Ever listened to a popular Italian song and wondered why you couldn't find half or more of the words in your Italian dictionary? It was probably a Neapolitan song, like 'O sole mio! or Torna a Surriento.Unfortunately, there isn't much available on Neapolitan unless you can read Italian, but now we are offering a grammar and a vocabulary/dictionary in English and with more to come.
